Why We Do It
Wanderlust Light and Sound was founded by Robert Farmer in 1976 in the sleepy farming community of Orient Ohio, just south of Columbus. It was here Bob that got the "music bug", listening to his grandfather's driving dance fiddle, and witnessing the joy and excitement of the dancing audience. Bob wanted to spread that joy as far as he could, and he has since devoted his life to serving musicians, conventions, promoters, and music-loving audiences.
Boy, has that dream grown big! Wanderlust now serves clients across the mid-west, and innumerable nationally and internationally acclaimed musicians have stepped onto a Wanderlust stage, their tours supported by Wanderlust Light and Sound!
Bob Farmer has established himself as a motivated entrepreneur and innovator in the fields of sound reinforcement, lighting, staging, concert production and event promotion. With his years of experience, fueled by an infectious enthusiasm for music and people, he has assembled a dedicated team of sound and lighting professionals.
